The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Brené Brown. It has been developed to help men and women learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The method was designed for work with individuals, work teams, and organizational leaders and can be facilitated in both educational and professional settings.

During the process we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live and lead.

If we are courageous, more often, we will fall.  This course explores what it takes to get ourselves back up again.  It is those of us who know that we can get back up again that can live the bravest lives. Come and explore Brené Brown's work in further detail and apply The Reckoning, The Rumble and The Revolution to your own lives.

The Rising Strong™ course consists of two x four hour evening workshops in a central London location with homework and a 1:1 coaching session to complete in between.

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work.  She has spent the past fifteen years studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of three #1 New York Times bestsellers – The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, and Rising Strong. Her TED talk – The Power of Vulnerability – is one of the top five most viewed TED talks in the world with over 25 million views.

Daring Way™ testimonials

"The Daring Way is an incredible two day experience that anyone who wants to experience a life full of joy should participate in! Roxanne facilitates in a unique way that opens up a warm and sharing environment that allowed us to delve deep into our stories and life experiences. She builds the framework in which we find our own answers and then leaves us with powerful action points and increased awareness of how to step up and make a difference." ~ Fiona Flintham, MarketingStrategist

"I just wanted to send a note of heartfelt thanks! I booked myself on the Daring Way in a rare moment of spontaneity and impulsiveness but I am so very glad that I did.

I can’t remember if I have ever got so much out of two days, when I have also laughed and (bizarrely) cried a lot. You were an incredible facilitator – warm, open, articulate, sensitive and when I look at the amount we covered I can’t quite believe we did it in just two days as it never felt rushed or contrived. I also never dreamt that I would meet such an incredible bunch of women as a result of a training course.

As discussed with you, it came at a very good time for me personally and professionally and I definitely walked into Regents Place a different person this morning, taller, more confident and clearer about where I am going or where I want to go." Managing Director, Dentsu Aegis

"The daring way is for anyone who wants to be the best they can be, at work, at home as a parent... The framework gives you a safe place to really know yourself and what you are striving for.  What you learn in the two days you will revisit again and again throughout your life.  You will come away wanting more for yourself and the people around you." JL, CPO, Mindshare

"The most intense and provocative course I’ve ever been on…. And I have been on quite a few. I think that you have to feel ready to go on a course like this but it has the ability to actually change your future behaviours, which is quite remarkable in a couple of days."JS, COO, Vizeum

"The Daring Way is a great course for those who are seeking to develop bravery both personally and professionally."  JH, Chief Talent Office, Mindshare

"Rox lives and breathes the Daring Way.  The two days were elegantly facilitated which allowed deep understanding of ourselves our responses and why we feel them. The daring way stands out for me as the best investment in my personal growth I have ever made" JG, senior leader, charity sector

"This course was one of the most useful 2 days of my professional life, helping me bridge the massive jump from senior management to leadership." SB, Managing Director, Santander

Rising Strong™ testimonials

"This course gives tangible techniques to be more authentic in living life. It made me think about actions I have been using to cope and how they have been hindering my progress. It was unexpectedly relevant to many areas of my life that I would not have previously considered and has significantly changed the way I approach new decisions.

Rox is a talented moderator who is able to tease out the deep un acknowledged emotion without feeling pushed." KG, International Consultant, TheNetworkOne

"This was a very useful course in it’s own right, but having previously read Rising Strong I found this was also an excellent way to fully understand and integrate the learning from the book.  Rox is inclusive, approachable, supportive and fun and both evening sessions and the coaching session were really interesting and productive.  I would recommend this course to anyone who is willing to reflect and challenge themselves to live more wholeheartedly." NH, GP

"Brené Brown's methodology gives a creative and robust framework to work around and address powerful human emotion and issues around behaviour in relation to leadership. Rox created a completely safe space for us to support each other and feel supported, I was bowled over by her skill and sensitivity in this. She also led the agenda, being flexible and responsive to the energy and feelings in the group, but never losing focus or a sense of purpose.  Rox is a powerful combination of real world leadership experience, well developed and technical coaching skills and a truly sensitivity and intuitive approach."  JS, Senior leader, charity sector
