Hiya!
Our hybrid Masculinity in the Workplace event is fast approaching and we’re super excited to share the confirmed details with you.
Our event this year is a great example of Leading with Heart in action. We are creating space for honest, compassionate and forward-looking conversations about what it means to grow from boys into men into role models.
Across the afternoon, we’ll explore how biological, cultural and social forces shape masculinity today, and how we can all play a part in reimagining it for the better. From evolutionary psychology to media influence, personal stories to humour, each session is designed to move beyond judgement or stereotype and towards understanding, connection and change.
This year we are opening up the in-person experience to all of you so you have the option of joining us at Conway Hall or tuning in via Zoom.
Our younger generations are the role models of the future and so, for the first time, we are also inviting attendees to bring their 15+ teenagers along to take part in the conversation.
If you’d like to join us, we’ve got a special 25% offer for you which you can find for the in-person tickets here, and the virtual tickets here.
You can see out full confirmed agenda below. We’d love to see your faces there! 🙂

They’ll unpack biological drivers and lived experiences, closing with practical ideas for supporting boys through this crucial stage.

Research: Rewriting the Script. Masculinity in Media and why it Matters
Explore how young men learn what it means to “be a man” and how on-screen stories shape, or fail to reflect, their real identities. Drawing on NRG and Channel Four research, this session examines how media portrayals influence masculinity, wellbeing, and workplace culture, and highlights characters offering healthier, more resonant models for today’s young men. With Professor Green, Joe Hall (Channel 4) and Fergus Navaratnam-Blair (NRG).

15.45 - 16.30:
Finding Role Models in Unexpected Places
Marcus Brigstocke is a touring stand-up comedian currently on the second leg of his nationwide tour, Vitruvian Mango. This critically acclaimed show takes a sharp, funny, and deeply human look at the roles men play in the 21st century - unpacking the mistaken thinking many of us fall for and exploring what we can do better, and enjoy more, in the process.
There’s no shame in being a man. In fact, a lot of it is pretty great. Other parts? Not so much. He will offer an invitation to leave behind the bits that no longer serve us and redefine masculinity for the world we actually live in. Along the way, Marcus reveals how we can find role models in the most unexpected places, and why those examples matter now more than ever.
